Notifications do not arrive on time

If you do not receive the notification on time, please check the following.
* The name and procedure for setting may differ depending on the phone model.

1 Confirm device settings

  1. Open [Settings] on your phone
  2. Select [Apps & Notifications]
  3. Select [Advanced]
  4. Select [Special App Access]
  5. Select [Battery optimization]
  6. Tap [Not optimized apps]
  7. Select [All apps]
  8. Select [Jorte]
  9. Select [Don't optimize]
  10. Tap [Done]

2 Confirm device settings

  1. Open [Settings] app on your phone
  2. Select [Apps & Notifications]
  3. Select [See all -- apps]
  4. Select [Jorte]
  5. Select [Notifications]
  6. Check if Calendar Event Reminders is turned on

3 Check if you are using a task killer

If you have a task killer (Clean Master, etc.), Energy saving (eco), or optimization-related app installed on your device, uninstall the app and check if the notification arrives on time.


4 Check if notifications arrive on time in Jorte

  1. Launch Jorte and tap [New] from the calendar screen toolbar
  2. Select [Event]
  3. The new schedule input screen opens
  4. Enter title
  5. Enter time
  6. Tap Add notification using a plus sign [+] to add a notification
  7. Select [Create]
  8. Calendar entries appear on the calendar screen
  9. Wait on the calendar screen and check if the notification arrives at the scheduled time
