■ Backup

If you set up Google Calendar when registering an event with Jorte, the data will not be saved in Jorte.
Data is stored in Google Calendar.
Therefore, please log in to the web Google Calendar on your computer and check if your calendar entries are displayed.

■ Data Migration

Calendar entries registered in Google Calendar via the Jorte app will be saved in the Google Calendar. Check if the calendar entries are displayed on the web Google Calendar first, please.
If your calendar entries are displayed on Google Calendar, select the Settings app of your new phone and synchronize your Google Calendar.
* The name and procedure for setting the main unit differ depending on the phone model.

1 Check web Google Calendar

Please log in to the web Google calendar on your computer and check if your calendar entries are displayed.

2 Sync with new smartphone settings

  1. Tap the [Settings] app on the new smartphone
  2. Tap [Accounts]
  3. Tap the Google account where the calendar entries are registered
  4. Tap [Account Sync]
  5. You will see a screen where you can check the synchronization status of Gmail, calendar, etc.
  6. Sync both [Calendar] and [Google Calendar]
  7. Confirm that the sync mark disappears and the last sync date and time is the current date and time

3 Check the calendar app on your new smartphone

Please start the "Calendar" application installed on the new smartphone from the beginning and check if the calendar entries are displayed.
Jorte displays the content displayed in the "Calendar" app.

4 Google Calendar integration with a new smartphone using Jorte

  1. Launch Jorte and tap [Calendar] on the calendar screen toolbar
  2. Tap [Add other services]
  3. Tap [Google Calendar]
  4. Check the Google Calendar you want to use
  5. Check that Google Calendar events are displayed on the calendar screen

When changing an old phone to a new one or reinstalling the Jorte app, please turn off "Automatic restore" or "Backup to Google Drive" in the smartphone settings and install the Jorte app.
